HEALTH
Health in all areas of your life: physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, financial. Health affects everything we do, say, think or become. Without Health, very little else matters in life.
Emotional Health includes the computer principle "Garbage in, Garbage out". Whatever you think about expands and becomes real to you. So it's wise to be careful what you think about. Train your fabulous mind to think the highest, think the best--of yourself and others. Also train your feelings to be able to cope with the experiences Life brings you.
Spiritual Health is a part of this. It's practicing your beliefs as a normal part of your daily activities.
Mental Health is the practical part, the setting and achieving goals part, the living in the material world part. There are many goal setting techniques, but it can be as simple as listing what you want and then outlining the Action Steps necessary to reach your goals.
Financial Health is related to Prosperity and Money, two other Riches of Life. It means paying attention to what you do with the money and income you have and doing wise things with that money to provide for current and future needs.
SUCCESS
Success shares U.S. Anderson's definition of Happiness: "The movement toward meaningful goals with the sense of being able to reach them." "Successive" even means "one after the other, following in a sequence". Success is one day at a time, building on the lessons (and sometimes failures) we experience in Life.
Success means much more than just "material success". What if a person with all the outer trappings (money, fine cars, fancy homes) has no integrity or strength of character? Is a person a "success" if they have to disregard the rights and feelings of others in order to "get ahead"?
TIME
We all have only so much time each day to get our work done, to do our daily routines, to progress towards our goals, to live our lives. And yet, subtle as this may be, Time is a man-made thing. No matter what the clock says, it's always NOW. It was NOW when you were born. It was NOW when you had breakfast. You cannot escape NOW.
Being aware of NOW helps you deal with only what is right in front of you at this moment. We can and should set goals for the future. We can and should take Time seriously and be on time, be punctual, be reliable when we promise to be somewhere to meet someone. But when we understand and apply the principle of the NOW moment, we can see the Big Picture. We can see what to do right now to correct any prior poor decisions and avoid repeating them.
It's very freeing when you grasp this concept. You take care of things before they get out of hand. You fully appreciate the beauty and grandeur of this world and your own life. This is what is meant by "stop and smell the roses". Far too many people live their lives in a frantic, busy mode and then wonder why they're exhausted or unhappy.
CRISTOFIR K. AVEN, EFT-CC; EFT-ADV; CFC
I have been a Personal Coach since 1996. I specialize in working with families using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and the Human Design System as an assessment tool to facilitate the EFT work. The combination is incredibly powerful, quick and provides lasting results for eliminating fears, emotional blocks to reaching your goals, as well as a host of other issues. I use EFT every day on my own issues and goals.
I wrote and self-published two self-help books for secretaries in 1980 (the books are now out of print). I have extensive background as a speaker/trainer in the motivational field. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations and Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco.
I TEACH PEOPLE TO BE THE PARENTS THEY WISH THEY'D HAD.
